Donate a blanket for pets during the holidays

First of all...this news may be late but nonetheless it's great news:

Following the recent fires, Operation Blankets of Love (check out the new website) received an SOS for blankets to comfort the family pets that were evacuated to the Mission Hills Shelter. There were over 120 animals that were brought there. Within twenty minutes of the call for help, Eileen Smulson and others arrived with several hundred blankets, towels and comforters.

And here's some valuable information for the holidays: Best Buy store in Porter Ranch recently started an Operation Blankets of Love (OBOL) Holiday Campaign to help the animals in the local shelters. A donation box has been placed inside the store. A special discount will be made to each customer that brings in blankets or towels. The store will accept donations through Dec. 31.

The store is located at 19929 Rinaldi St., Porter Ranch. For more information on Operation Blankets of Love, call (818) 402-6586 or visit the website.
