Now why didn't I have this when Sasha was around?

When we had our Sasha (a Samoyed who would get extremely dirty every chance he got) it was a complete ordeal when it came to bath time. Giving him a bath involved me wearing a bathing suit (unlike the perfectly dressed and dry people you see in these photos) because of the effort it would take to spray him down, lather him up and rinse him off as he tried...with occasional success...to finagle himself away from me as I came at him with the hose. HE HATED WATER WITH A PASSION!...unlike these two sammies frolicking in the water. I think he hated it because his fur was so thick that when it was wet it would literally weigh him down. And when he shook himself to rid his fur of water...WATCH OUT!! WALL OF WATER!!

Now I'm not saying he would have loved the HydroSurge RapidBath system any better but it probably would have taken a shorter amount of time to get him clean. The dogs that they use in these demos are golden retrievers, which are bona fide water dogs, so not all dogs may behave as awesomely as these two did.

The HydroSurge RapidBath PetBathing System is an all-in-one wet, wash and rinse system that shoots a pulsating combination of shampoo and water in an easy-to-use, one-handed fashion that doesn't require scrubbing.

"Dog bathing is a dreaded chore for most pet parents," said Derek Ernst, director of sales and marketing of the HydroSurge RapidBath brand. With this system, dog owners can select from five shampoo varieties: Ultra Cleaning, Shine and White, Deodorizing, Hypo-Allergenic and Oatmeal Soothing. Shampoo packages include three 2-ounce cartridges and retail for $9.99 at PetSmart. The suggested retail price for the entire system is $69.99. The system is available at PetSmart stores.

If any of you have used this please let me know what you think of it. I'd love to get feedback on the products featured here. I don't have a dog at the moment and my cats really would not appreciate such a thing...LOL!! Although I could try this on friends and family dogs...heheh!!
