US marshals seize allegedly contaminated pet food

So far this doesn't seem to affect California but I thought I'd post this article anyway since I'm sure (at least I hope so) that they'll be inspecting other distribution plants that DO deliver to California and other states not listed. Very scary stuff! Our pets deserve to have the same food safety standards as we do. And it's pretty sad that even our own food safety seems to be going down the drain (tomatoes anyone?). I'm beginning to really think about growing my own vegetables.
