oh i thought they weren't eligible for the actual NCAA tournament. I didn't know they couldn't compete for the PAC 10 title. you'd think someone in the athletics dept would have checked that before sending it out.

Typical of the athletic dept. and their incompetency including the SID office. It was a real dumb move to ban the conference tournament especially being played in L.A. as part of the self-imposed sanctions leaving nothing to possibly show for a surprisingly good season. The ncaa tournament would have been enough until the NCAA comes down hard on their own if that will be the case.

Turn out was pretty good for the Bay Area schools. Not surprising that tickets are still available for the UCLA game given USC's self-imposed sanctions and UCLA's terrible play this season.

This is an advert for the WOMEN'S championship tourney at Galen, not the Mens at Staples. The women ARE eligible for post-season play.
If it's for women's basketball, why would it say that UCLA is a home game?
FightOn2010- I'm looking at the email now. It's definitely not for the Women's tourney at Galen- the email is dedicated to the remaning men's games and the link takes you to the tourney at Staples.
