Wouldn't be a bad hire. By the looks of things, Norm Chow didn't exactly have the most elite talent to work with at UCLA. But, maybe Leach's pass-oriented offense would work well at UCLA with some of the good receivers they have, and if Prince steps up. He didn't look up to par against Temple, but he's a sophomore now. It'd be interesting.

Leach is scary in that his offense can beat anyone (or lose to anyone, for that matter).

Scott made it up. Leach would never accept a UCLA's OC salary. Way too low.

I agree with Affholter....There's no way Leach will accept an OC's salary. He was slated to make $2.5 mil per year with his then new contract with Texas Tech.

So that means if the three-chins of Leach shows up in West Beverly Hills, then every player there will be subject to being locked in a broom closet, and learn how to play in a neighborhool pool (cried the Nueweasel), without crying to the NCAA about it. Fight On!

It appears of late, that 'Our Dear Old Scottie' has been making up a lot or adding to (The Sensational) of what we've read here! Could we have the burgeoning of yet another Jayson Blair, perhaps?

This rumor seems like the least likely of everything Scott has posted in the last week. I cannot see Leach working for someone who is less accomplished than he is and especially for a salary that is peanuts on a relative scale.

Leach can get a head coach job. Being the O.C. for UCLA is well beneath him. Props to Scott if it does happen though.

I will believe it when i see it. With all the bs reports in the last two days i cant trust anyone. Not sure if ucla needs that type of circus.

Leach will have to spend some time in the "dog house" or "woodshed" or whatever he put that kid into, and by the time he is free he will slide into Neu-weasel's position. Is the weasel dumb or what?

Leach and Skip Holtz has been contacted by South Florida for head coaching position-according to ESPN. Both are interested, will see. Hard to see Leach taking that big of pay cut.

As of now, Leach is making $0 and it's unlikely he'll be offered a HC position at a school worthy of his resume unless and until he proves himself trustworthy again (or at least until people forget he just locked a kid with a head injury in a closet).

I don't buy this report for a minute. Especially because the OCR said that Chow's agent has not even talked to USC as of 10am this morning.

We need accurate reporting, and not simple rumors, so that we know that's really going on.
