You know the age-old philosophical question "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

Along the same lines, if a member of Girls Aloud walks down an American street, would anyone know who they are?

A: The readers of this blog would and no one else really matters, right?

Q: Trojan in Redondo said:
Does it make sense for Nadine Coyle to own and live in a house located in a Southern California coastal town yet instead spend her time in the swimming pool of a Southern California hotel? Is this an Irish thing?

A: It's a celebrity thing. She can't get pampered and mingle with celebrities at her house like she could at a Beverly Hills hotel.

A: It looks like only our own crusade will give the band a chance to become a mainstream U.S. act.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
