Paper Victory

For the recruiting addicts who count how many top 100 players the Trojans can accumulate, USC just lost to a team with a 5-11 quarterback and a 5-7 tailback.

Beanie Wells is not a midget like The Quiz, but just think what he would have done to the USC defense.
The fact that he did not play is no longer a moot point. The Trojans dodged a huge bullet with the Wells injury. Pryor would have likely VY'd USC too if he had the reigns for a whole game plan.

So are you suggesting USC failed and should "short" kids?

I wouldn't trade rosters with any team and the USC kids wotked their butts off this year and will reap the dividends as the year plays out.

This is a great team and it will play that way the rest of the year.

Go Trojans! Sanchez Rocks! McKnight will roll!!!

SEC=over hyped!!!

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
