Regarding the naming rights and the Coliseum. Why is it that Germany would not allow its Olympic Stadium, which was modeled after the Coliseum, to have any sponsors attached to its name?

From what I understand USC didn't want any name on it but it was one of the deal-breakers from the city. And since it was going to have to happen, USC decided they might as well take a piece.
Weak effort by Wolf to take a shot at USC. There's plenty of real faults with the school, just use one of those instead of trying to make one up.
Wait, that might take effort.

I don't know the full story behind the naming of the coli, but I do know that SC is REALLY good at getting money from people. And I'm completely cool with it, the grants they give to financial aiders are rediculous and a lot of the campus needs modernizing.
I'm just hoping a big baller alum picks up the tab in order to keep corporate bs OFF of the coli.
So lets step it up Lucas and Ferrel, neither of you make good movies anymore but you still get paid bank for your crap. How about a joint venture where Frank the Tank goes to space and bangs a wookie? We can cast the song girls as wookies. Then you can donate the proceeds to the 'keep the coliseum og' fund.
Viterbi, last I checked that whole cell phone thing worked out pretty well for you. Why stop at the 60 million or so it took to buy the engineering school?
How about CP, Reggie, Matty, Keyshawn, Troy, Lofa, etc etc just buy the coli flat out. That would be too sick for words.
Who am I missing? Any other suggestions?

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
