Taylor's take
Offensive guard Ryan Taylor, who played at Tyler (Tex.) Junior College, talked about his adjustment to the Division I level.
"Probably getting to the linebacker level is what I'm doing best," Taylor said. "The speed from junior college to here is a little different. The D-linemen, they're a little faster. I haven't gotten used to that speed.
"It's more like a job than anything. It's a big business. It wasn't like that in junior college. The meetings are a whole lot more strict."

This is

Is this good or bad? Does he like it so far? Is it overwhelming? Can he handle it? Is he optimistic that he'll be successful or at least make a contribution? I know it's only been a week, but I would think his comments are not that different from any other newcomer.
How is he looking BD?
So rejn, you think Brian should've asked, "Hey Ryan, do you like it so far?" or "Ryan, do you think you can handle it?"
Yeah, I'm sure the answers to those probing questions would be much more unpredictable than those quoted above by Brian.
Keep your day job rejn. Let's leave the reporting to Brian.
We are 3 practices into Spring, guys. Coming from JC to D1 MUST be an adjustment. If it weren't a lot more strict and intense, I would be questioning whether our coaching staff had its collective sheeeet together.
