Pauley video removed
Sorry for those trying to view the Pauley Pavilion renovation video. At the insistence of UCLA, it was removed from youtube.
The way I understand it, UCLA showed the video during the men's basketball banquet, and someone taped it and posted it. The video was shown at the banquet as a special bonus for those in attendance.
When UCLA found out it was on youtube, the school contacted the person and asked it to be removed. My understanding is UCLA will make a public push in the next few months, and the video will again be available for viewing.

This is

I guess this is one of those instances where free publicity is a bad thing.
...wait...it is?!?!
They'd probably prefer the actual video be shown, rather than a poorly recorded version of it (not that I'm blaming the person that recorded it). Though, now that the cat's out of the bag, they may as well throw it up there.
The other possibility is that they want people to view it at there site instead of youtube. Just speculating, of course.
Since it already leaked, what's the secret? Might as well release the video and all corresponding details now.
Does anybody that watched it want to comment on it?!
man, when they're finally done with it, it better be so divinely awesome that the 2nd Advent will touch down at pauley. it better not flop, it better be that good. like seriously.
The artistic renderings showed a nice upgrade to the existing Pauley Pavillion facilities. It showed a type of shell encompassing the exterior of the building that creates a grand lobby of sorts which includes upgraded concessions. Also, the seating will be moved much closer behind each of the baskets to eliminate the ugly brown tarp on the floor which is an eye sore. This will create an extra 1 thousand seats according to the video. The whole plan itself looks nice I just wish it wouldnt take two years to complete while making our team play home games in other arenas around town. I dont know why any recruit would want to play a year or two away from campus.
"I dont know why any recruit would want to play a year or two away from campus. "
It hasn't seemed to hurt our football recruiting the past two years.
You don't think football recruiting would be even better if UCLA had an on campus stadium? I would have to disagree. The Rose Bowl is pretty nice and I like going, but I'd rather have someplace to go on campus.
Uhhh, does this mean that Karl Dorrell is in charge of the project?
He to never wanted us to know what he was thinking because......... well..........he wasn't
Hey 1:35, are you going to contribute some cash to the renovation? If not, you'll be in no position to complain.
