OL Eddie Williams update

In talking to a few of my sources at UCLA the last few days, they are expecting JUCO offensive lineman Eddie Williams, who played at Mt. San Antonio junior college, to be enrolled in June and compete for playing time once August training camp arrives.

I'll believe it when it happens, as with all JC transfers, but this news is better than the alternative, i suppose.

The more competition on that line, the better!

Now I'm just wondering which Special Olympian Brian ticked off... somebody find his meds.

Please ban the IP of 7:13pm. There is nothing constructive or pertinent to the post whatsoever, not to mention being incredibly classless.

I agree Anon at 8:12 and second his/her motion. The IP at 7:13 is essentially an attack on a fellow "poster". Dohn Corleone, make him an offer he can't refuse and block his IP.

Now, related to the post...that is fantastic news. As VB would say, we need all the "big uglies" we can get!

Go Bruins!

We need the depth!!! 2 for 2 (Williams and Warner) would be awesome, hopefully we at least go 1 for 2. 0 for 2 would be a blow to the depth of the big uglies.

What else is he going to say? What did he say before signing day?

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
