Rumor is that he is gonna wait til later ths week because UTAH is talking to his former hs coach about an open position. Maybe to try and lure Xavier with familiarity?

He is supposed to announce shortly. I'm told he will go through with the announcement.

Oh my. If we get SXF, it will be an early Christmas in Westwood! I pretty much had given up hope on him.

He's scheduled to announce in 15 min. I think he will. Hopefully the Hasiak announcement will help him to the promised land.

btw, espnu labels him as the #3 OT in the nation. the show mentioned something like him as one of the top immediate impact O-linemen in the nation...

If we land XSF, that will make this an absolutely great day for CRN and staff. The "loss" of Te'o is lessened by the fact that he spurned Peter the Cheater, and our signing of Golper, a highly-rated LB, albeit rated a step below Te'o. Also, with the exception of Sanders, we've been able to keep our commits home. Hasiak, Abele, and now, hopefully, XSF, would be 3 top-level OL recruits.

Now, not to be greedy, but if Randall Carroll sees the tide turning to UCLA, decides he wants to stay at WR, and goes with us, this turns into an absolute banner signing day for the Bruins.
