Prince looking good
I talked to a few people who have been out to the football workouts and was told quarterback Kevin Prince has looked very good.

Prince will definitely be in the mix for the starting job. Craft, Prince, Forcier and Brehaut all will compete for the starting job (and Crissman if he is healthy). This was expected and improved play is also expected!!!!!
He'll look even better if our O line can block and help the run.
What exactly does this mean? Does this mean he looks better than Craft? Are these coaches saying he looks good or players?
Is he working out like it's 1999?
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the 2009 starting quarterback for the UCLA Bruins.
Can someone please remind me why he didn't play last year? Was he injured, mission, needed to grow, enrolled late?
Thanks
He did not play becuase by the time the coaches were comfortable with his grasp of the offense it was halfway through the season and they did not want to burn his redshirt year for only six game or so of rolling the dice on a freshman kid with a HORRIBLE Offensive line. It was a good move because now he has four years left with a better line.
Prince will be the man that leads the bruins to thier first pac-10 title.
He was a true freshman (meaning he probably wasn't ready early in the year) and by the time he was ready, they didnt want to burn his redshirt.
Thank God,we need a qb thats not going to give the ball to the other team, and can throw over 30 yards.
this is great news. I'm rooting for him to be our starting quarterback...
i thought he was going to leave after the semester for his mission. That was the talk when he signed. Did he change his mind
I remember similar reports been told about Ben Olson, so let's not get to far ahead of ourselves here. Let's see how he transitions to real games.
I went to high school with KP and let me tell u something, he is the real deal. He's got the arm, he is mobile, and reads the defenses really well. Even though he battled with some injuries during his junior and senior seasons, he kept persevering through it all. He was always the last one in the weight room and on the field working with his receivers. Good things are going to happen to this kid and he will be a great quarterback for the Bruins!!!
KP will not be interrupting his ucla career to serve a mission. That was a career-limiting move for Ben Olson. Coach Chow, who has seen more than a few, believes that missions are death to quarterbacks. think of all the great BYU QBs---none served missions. Not McMahon (not LDS), not Detmer (became LDS while at BYU), not Young (wanted to play football), not Sarkisian (JC transfer, not lds), not John Walsh (not LDS), i don't even think Marc Wilson served a mission. Ladies and gentlemen, your four-year starter and Richard Brehaut's ticket to Oregon State, Kevin Prince!
