Next week's visitor
Norco High linebacker Jared Koster was a late addition to UCLA's recruiting class, committing on signing day despite not making an official visit.
However, I'm hearing he will visit next weekend, when the Bruins are home in hoops against the Washington schools.
Also, here is video of Koster:

His video is impressive. When he hits people, they go backwards, which is always a desired trait in LB. Hopefully he makes a name on special teams and factors into the LB rotation sometime down the line.
He's a quick little guy.
oh he will jigs...that guy can hit, tackle and pursue the ball. He clearly loves to hit and plays with a chip on his shoulder, love that.
I'm hoping he is a tough S.O.B; we need bigger linebackers in the mold of USC's!
I can see why the coaches are high on him. He hits like a truck, he has great vision and anticipation of the play, and can shed a lead block well. I bet it is his speed which makes him unknown (based on the video).
Spencer Havner
I like what i see: smart player, great instincts, solid tackler especially in the open field, hits hard, decent speed. I think he will be a starter in a couple years as long as he puts on muscle and stays focused.
This highlight film impressed me a lot more than some of the previous ones ive seen Brian post. Not to mention Norco plays some pretty tough competition as well.
Seems odd that he can take a paid offical visit after signing an LOI. Oh, well.
Kid has panache. LOVE that play at the end.
The kid looks good......I'm excited for him.
Bruinchick:
Little guy? The little guy is 6'2 225lbs. He's got D-1 and NFL LB size right now. That sure is one fast white boy and man can he STICK!!!!
Jared hits like the stone cold truth. This is what I want to see when I see a kid's LB highlight film. I'm not missing Manti so much. I want to see this kid on the field.
Curious why with his grades and that the Norco Head Coach is Toby Gerhart's Dad why Stanford wasn't on him. Anybody know?
