Football injury
UCLA offensive lineman Mike Harris will be out two to three months after undergoing surgery to repair a broken right foot.
Harris broke the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot last week. He will not be available for spring practice, which could give Nate Chandler and Sean Sheller more reps at tackle.

And so, it begins
Ha. Perfect...
was he on a quad? just asking...
stop breaking your feet guys...do as ben olson says, not as he does
Note to football staff:
Stop dropping sledge hammers on the feet of offensive players.
oh boy, here we go again...
I always check this page hoping for football updates, but not this kind
Woo freakin HOOO!!!!
DARNIT!!!
that fifth metatrasal bone is really biting UCLA in the rear.
Was this a football related injury?
Wow the only OL recruit from 2007, foot injuries are a bad thing for OL.
ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDIN' ME!?!?!?! We need a witch doctor to take the hex off this place!!!
Seriously LAPDBruin. I'm with you.
So I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with those Adidas shoes. There must be a reason everyone is breaking their freaking "fifth metatarsal" pinky toes. Brian, can you look into this? I want to compare Nike shoes to Adidas and find out if broken toes are more common in Adidas shoes. I think you've got a story here...
BruinBrock, you may be on to something.....This is just too weird!!!!

BruinChick, you rock!!! That was a great article! Looks like CRN is at least looking into the problem. Hopefully, Adidas is dropped from our program. I remember when I played ball, I don't recall any of my teammates having these kind of injuries and we had some quick players that probably torqued the "hell" out their shoes....We should go "retro" with the 7 stud cleats....Old School Rules!
