Ace in the Hole
What was UCLA's ace in the hole with Kapolei (Hawaii) offensive lineman Stan Hasiak?
Bruins coach Rick Neuheisel hired intern Vae Tata as a full-time assistant for a couple of weeks so Tata could go out on the road recruiting.
It was cleared through the Pac-10 and the NCAA, and Tata passed the recruiting test so he could go on the road. He spent two weeks in Hawaii, and from everything I understand, did an awesome job.
Tata is a former UCLA player from the mid 1990s.

Again, Brilliant. Great job Coach RN
Maybe we need to start calling him Sneaky Rick! Love it!
Is that just awesome .........GO BRUINS ....
BruinChick,
I believe he already picked up the nickname "Slick Rick" during his notorious days up in Washington.
Respect the player, hate the game.
It was a play on Sneaky Pete.
i know this has nothing to do with the above article but Scout.com says that Reeves Nelson was involved in car accident in which alcohol was involved. He has been suspended from school according to the report
I wouldn't have considered that an Ace in the Hole, and I'm not sure why it had to be a secret. It's more like a pair on the flop.
I've always loved Tatas.
Respect the Tatas!
Tears of joy.
I love what we are doing!!!
Reeves was involved in a car accident but was not driving.
