On Abele

One interesting thing Irvine lineman Nik Abele told me was he was actually coming in as a defensive end, and not an offensive tackle. He said Utah and Washington also gave him that opportunity.

so he wants to play defense?

Just wait Nik. Three days into training camp, you'll be moved to OT and the coaches will say something like "your body type is better suited for tackle." No worries bruin fans, he will be an OT.

Huh? Brian - any thoughts on that?

Could this possibly be a reflection of the coach's confidence in Hasiak and Philipp committing?

Abele has MUCH more potential at OT. Watching his highlight tape, he's an OT! He's got great feet and a nice frame for another 50lbs.

Brian, giving us the goods that we have been wanting all weekend at 10:19pm on a Saturday night, instead of tomorrow morning, officially makes you the best journalist ever! Thanks for the dedication!

A hard time walking on at New Mexico State and 15 DBs? Abele an OT or DE offered by Utah, Maka a LB, a previous Arizona commit, and Sanders a DE, a previous Miami commit. New Mexico State??? But you can't play 10 running backs at the same time (Moody). Don't chase too many cars?

Be reasonable TS- can't you seem Slick Rick saying: "Dang it guys! We have too much depth!!!"

Vegas bound squad. Oops, you didn't go to a bowl, sorry. And Sanders had stopped being recruited by Miami. But you did stick to Washington State.
