More commitments
According to a few of my sources, UCLA also picked up non-binding oral commitments from former Miami commit Billy Sanders, a defensive end from Idaho, Irvine offensive lineman Nik Abele and Long Beach Jordan linebacker Taniela Maka (originally an Arizona commit). That is on top of defensive back Marlon Pollard of San Bernardino Cajon High committing today.

Some may not know Taniela Maka. He is a stud LB who was a bit under the radar due to injuries during his sr season. Look up his name in YouTube. There is a nice highlight vid of him. The kid has a great motor. Never gives up on a play.
I agree. Maka will be better than Golper or Bowens. People arent seeing this commitment all the way through. He's very underrated by Biggins and others and he could play early.
Bowens is really good. He is going to surprise people!
well, aside from pollard (4 stars), i dunno. a set of 3 and 2 stars...am i supposed to get that excited? ya, i know everyone here thinks stars dont matter, but comon, get real, tell that to $uc. ill trade a random set of 3 and 2 stars for a random set of 5 stars any day, right? i thought CRN and chow were gonna attract a heavier class of talent. comon lets get some big-time talent coaches!!!!

As of this morning, Maka was not listed as committed to UCLA on the Scout.com site and was listed as a "soft verbal" to Arizona on the Rivals.com site, FWIW...
