Howland tidbits
UCLA coach Ben Howland met with the media this morning and said despite Loyola Marymount being 0-10, he is always concerned about not being prepared to play. He added one of LMU's problems is a lack of depth.
Howland added he thought LMU would play a lot of zone defense, and time is being spent in practicing attacking the zone. He also said guard Jrue Holiday is very good at attacking the zone.
Howland said reserve guard Mustafa Abdul-Hamid will undergo surgery to repair a ligament in his wrist, which will keep him out of action "essentially" for the rest of the season.

Spencer Pratt?
More like well-timed sarcasm. Adbul-Hamid having surgery has as much impact on the team as me having surgery.

Anonymous 11:53... well said comment - and quite funny. I was gonna post something similar, but you beat me to the punch.
