Injury update
Just got up from the locker room and here are the injuries.
Center Micah Reed injured the medial collateral ligament in his right knee, and it appears he will not be ready for next week against Arizona.
Linebacker Kyle Bosworth injured the MCL in his left knee, and was pulled from the game so not to injure it more.
Runnning back Raymond Carter has a bruised knee, but said he didn't believe it was serious.
All three will have MRIs Monday or Tuesday.
Running back Aundre Dean sprained his ankle on his only carry and defensive tackle Jerzy Siewierski suffered a strained neck. Not sure on either's status for next week until the next few days.

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
Why does it seem like its only our team that has the injuries??

You guys gave up on the season already? We knew coming to the season that our OLines are not that good and Brian has been harping on it ever since the Spring practice. Yes, it's an embarrassing loss but we can still salvage the season by going to a bowl. Other than "that school at 110 fwy", other teams in Pac-10 are not so dominant. We can still create havoc in the Pac-10.
The only way to go now is UP. Give it time as we rebuild.
