Embree catching on
Much like spring practice when freshman Taylor Embree made a name for himself by catching nearly everything he touched, it has continued through the first week of training camp.
"He has a natural feel for the game,'' UCLA receivers coach Reggie Moore said. "He's making a play every day, or two or three. He's got great hands, a natural knack for football.''

This is

Aaah, yes, the memories of college football. For me it was intramural football, where I had great hands and everybody encouraged me to walk on the football team. And so I did with great expectations.
First day, I make a good catch but drop it when whacked by some 'backer. Next, in blocking drills, I am holding the bag, my chin strap is too loose, the split end hits the bag with all his might, and my helmet goes flying into the air.
Day two, I am retired.
P.S. At this level (college) the game is for animals. If you ain't the meanest guy from your high school, you will be left behind.
I've heard and seen a lot of good things regarding Embree. If the Bruins can get a respectable performance from the OL, there are definitely weapons at the skill positions to cause other teams some big problems. Depth at WR and RB is only good if the QB's can execute behind the line.
