Tebow sighting

| | Comments (9) |

I was on UCLA's campus Tuesday working on a story when Florida quarterback Tim Tebow showed up at Spaulding Field with a few cronies and worked out.
Let me say this: Tebow, in town for the ESPY's, was quite impressive. From his arm strength to accuracy to his quickness and speed, it was amazing. The Heisman winner worked out for about 30 minutes or so.

oh, how great it would be to hear this about a Bruin...

was Norm Chow around? football coaches? Players? any thoughts from them?

and who caught his passes? one of his cronies?

Interesting that he didn't go to SC for his workout. Isnt that closer to the ESPY location? Eveybody at least wants to see UCLA's campus, its pretty amazing.

Any reaction from players or coaches from his workout?

Of course he'd rather come to UCLA than $C. If you could decide between being around Bel Air or South Central, which would you chose?

And yes, I wish we could hear these great things about a Bruin.

A guy like Tebow, like Vince Young, comes along once in a great while. He is so good he is a freak.

And if one wants to compare areas in Los Angeles, give me USC through the new and historical downtown Los Angeles into the enchanting Hollywood Hills any day over boring Brentwood, Bel Air and Westwood. Traffic is better, too.

ONLY,

Oh please!!!!!! Are you serious about the area around sc being better than Prestigious UCLA. You must be joking! Let's see, high class or ghetto. Where would I want to spend an afternoon.

Nobody wants to be in the ghetto, that is why the traffic is better. Ask the sc students where they like to hang out on the weekends.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
