Player reunion
Earlier this week former UCLA players Matt Ware, Matt Clark, Bruce Davis, Trey Brown and Matt Slater were on campus watching the 7-on-7s, afterward Brown and Davis worked out with a few of the current players.
Ware is playing in Arizona, Davis is with Pittsburgh, Brown is with Chicago and Slater is with New England.
Clark, who bounced around in some NFL camps and played with Hamilton in Canada last year, said he was getting ready to become a firefighter, which would have him following in the footsteps of former Bruins running back Manuel White Jr.

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
Anyone know where Manny White is a fireman at?

Either James McAlister or Kermit Washington became a firefighter also. I think it was on Pasadena FD.
