No Turner
UCLA receiver Jamil Turner will not return for his fourth season. However, he will remain in school and finish his degree. So it is clear, it means he will not come back for a fifth year, thus freeing up a scholarship for the next recruiting class.

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
Any reason why?
Probably has to do with his position on the depth chart. He was never able to get into the receiver rotation, and with the influx of talented freshmen receivers, he was probably going to be buried even further.
he is also taking bigger stes in life towards becoming a man so it kind of out ways practicing all summer just to sit the bench
