More Edwards
Hi folks. Sorry for the infrequency of posts today. I've been on assignment at a golf course with no cell reception.
Anyway, I see there's quite a debate regarding Edwards. He doesn't have the grades to get into UCLA, and if the season started today he wouldn't be playing. He did commit to UCLA, but he has work to do this summer academically if he's elibigle to play.

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
He doesn't have the grades or he doesn't have the classes?
I could see a contingent offer if he needed to take a few summer classes, but not if he didn't have the grades.
If he can do the work, I'd love to have him. UCLA is all about accomplishment and this would be a great place for himi to start. Work hard on the school stuff, Mr. Edwards, and we'll see you in the fall.
