Web site reversal
This blog reported yesterday that UCLA would look into any unauthorized use of its logo, and the site releasemorgan.com has now taken down the UCLA logos on its Web site. Also, the Web site now has a letter thanking LSU for releasing J'Mison Morgan. The Web site originally asked people to write letters to the LSU athletic department requesting it release Morgan from its letter of intent.

This is

Maybe I am missing something, but I don't understand why this Morgan site keeps getting pumped here. If you go to it, it is clearly an advertising commercial venture. It also, IMO, makes the UCLA community look poorly which I am starting to suspect is part of the free publicity for it here. I say that because this blog also mentioned the DumpDorrell site last year several times, which was also a commercial venture that made the UCLA fan base look bad.
There are a dozen UCLA fan sites that produce accurate information, break stories, do interesting things, and don't embarrass the University, yet rarely get mentioned here and never get their own repeated blog entry. I remember when the FireKarlDorrell.com site went up and got publicity until it was found out that the site was started by a USC alum in an effort to discredit UCLA fans. Note: that was before this blog started but one can assume that it would have got some publicity here as well.
Bottom line is that these cartoonish sites are usually designed with ulterior motives to either make money, or embarrass the University. I can see why a Trojan blog would want to publicize them, but I don't see them as "newsworthy" on a UCLA fan blog.
Just my opinion as a visitor here.
second that. it was clearly a lame website that most bruin fans agreed was foolish. such diligent reporting on such an insignificant story.
how about updates on players and where they stand and how early draft entrants are looking so far? what aboya is planning to do? is alex stephenson looking to transfer? what is going on with the ncaa and mayo allegations? pretty weak to check on the blog and find more releasebobo website updates.
