Here is a release from UCLA with some detailed information about Saturday's spring game at the Rose Bowl.

UCLA Football Spring Scrimmage at the Rose Bowl – Sat. Apr. 26

Parking: Lots open at 3 p.m. $10 per vehicle; $20 per recreational vehicle…The lots will be available for tailgating (no golf course parking will be available)

Area H / Food Zone: UCLA store, Teri and Yaki, Robin’s Barbeque, Carls Jr., AM 570 radio, am 1330 radio, UCLA Kid’s Club

Team Arrival Walk: The team will walk-through the Area H picnic area and into the Stadium in a similar manner as during the regular season (approx. team arrival at 5 pm)

Fan Entrance / Seating: Gates A and B will be open to the public at approximately 6:15 p.m. for entrance into the Rose Bowl…..Seating will be available at Tunnels 17, 18, 19, and 20….there is no admission charge, no ticket needed…there will be screening of patrons entering the Rose Bowl for prohibited items

Concessions: Food concessions will be open on the west side of the Rose Bowl; Novelty concessions will be open on the south side.

Autographs: At the conclusion of the scrimmage, fans will be invited to move down to the field for autographs

Event Timeline:
3:00 – Parking lots open
3:30 – Lady Bruins 101 (discussions and demonstrations of basic football strategies with coach Neuheisel; this is a pre-registered event, no additional sign-ups on Saturday)
4:30 – Bruin Kids Club Field Day (coach and player interaction with kids)
5:00 – Approx. time of UCLA team arrival at Rose Bowl
6:15 – Rose Bowl gates open for fans to enter seating areas
7:00 – Scrimmage

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
