On Collison's foul
It seemed like a silly foul to commit when UCLA point guard Darren Collison reached in and fouled Derrick Rose in the backcourt with 2:53 to play with Memphis up 63-52. But I was sitting directly across from the UCLA bench in the first row, and coach Ben Howland was yelling for the Bruins to foul Rose.
Asked after the game about Collison's fifth foul, Howland said, "I don't remember what happened. What was his fifth foul?"

Thanks for clearing that up Brian. This whole time I had been thinking that Collison had basically given up in committing that foul.

I agree with 09bruin - thanks for clearing that up. But the OTHER question I'd like to hear Ben discuss was why he didn't go to using Westbrook on Rose and Luc on CDR earlier when Darren was clearly ineffective. Thanks
