Strong practice, and more
UCLA responded with a very good Tuesday practice with high energy.
"I like our focus right now,'' UCLA coach Karl Dorrell said. "Everybody's chirping on each other to improve. ...I was really encouraged with how hard everyone was working."
QB Ben Olson looked good, throwing quickly and accurately.
Meanwhile, FB Michael Pitre made it through the whole practice and may play Saturday at Oregon State. DE Nikola Dragovic (concussion) and LB Aaron Whittington (concussion) each returned to practice.
LG Shannon Tevaga (knee) was dressed for practice, but only did running on the side and then sat and watched the last half of practice. He is not expected to play this week.
Comments
brian, last week the bruins were taciturn and workmanlike. does this mean a loss is imminent?

Brian you wrote in a QA that at 7-5 you felt that there would be a conversation on CKD's return....
On some of the internet sites, fans claiming (and perhaps they really are) to be insiders/have inside knowledge are stating that the AD would not let CKD go with any sort of winning season.
Would you agree?

Brian, I think you should start your Q and A's on Monday, and then start answering them on Friday. For me personally that would be helpful and convenient so that I wouldn't forget a queston that I would ask you.
