Charter Oak or South Hills; A dream final awaits

| | Comments (7) |

If the area's perennial powerhouse's met in the Southeast Division championship in December, who would you take? Have the Huskies improved enough to challenge the Chargers? Because of the new leagues, you might not see this dream final again. You will see them battle for playoff spots along with Damien in the Sierra League, but as far as title games, the best chance is now, and those chances are growing by the week. Who is going to stop them, West Covina, Diamond Ranch, Rowland, one of those Burbank schools? Not this year. When you look at the three losses between them, Rancho Cucamonga, La Habra and Tesoro, there is nobody like that they will face again until they meet each other.

get over the balk call already--it was a balk and was made before the play was made. quit calling it a bad call, it takes away from what those kids did..

lets get real

CO is the 2nd best team in the valley
they will win their 5th CIF title if they stay focus .

SH wont stand a chance againts them.

AMAT is in a higher class and thats the way it is supposed to be

OK for example ... you put CO , SH, WC. Monrovia, SD , ok ok Rancho Cuca,, Glendora , Damien . Bonita ETC....
I dont want to forget any one ...LOL

in the PAC 5 division and they will be lucky to even make the playoffs

But I think it is good to step up and play the bigger Divisions

What ever happends
Good luck and be safe in the Playoffs

GO BULLDOGS

but am still sticting with bonita in the finales
highleys back huths back the running back holmes leggs look strong. we lost to s.d on last series rated 4 or 5 beat b.p rated 3or 4 lost on last set to clairmont.and last we had four soph. at linebackers. not this week mckinnsey and huth are back and evans to. the middle linebacker play a big part of any football team fred my friend.if i was you take a week away form your team and catch the first half of the bonita game then you tell me am nuts. going nuts watching the bearcats give games away late.. not now are team is heathly bro.. would love to play south hills and smoke them.it would be a great start of the season to pay back the huskies beating us out for the trip to angel staduim in baseball last year.. nice balk call in the bottom of the seventh.they had a good team they didnt need that bad call ,it was a great game intell the umpire blow another bad call.

I think WC has a good shot at being a spoiler, they are playing some good ball right now. As for using the tight game with Amat comparison, I think Amat rose to another level in the St. Bonnie game, they are a much better team now and are playing at a higher level. Had we been healthy the night we played them I think we could have beat them on that given night, but now I don't think there is a team in this valley that could stay with them. I also think Burbank looks pretty tough right now they might be a spoiler too.

What about Bishop/WC guru? They still get no respect, your saying that they won't face anybody of the La Habra, Tesoro, or Rancho caliber. Leaving WC, DR, Rowland and the rest as weak schools this year, but Bishop played WC tight. So WC has to be at that caliber, if Bishop claims to be so great.

I have been saying it since week 0 CO will meet SH and it will be a close game but CO will edge out SH like usual.

I think the SGV needs this because the leagues have now been mixed up and we want to keep the CIF plaque at home(SGV). Also CO or SH needs to take it so we can enjoy our last moments in the Southeast and finally give the other teams in our leagues a better chance at going further in playoffs. I can only imagine that crowd at Mt Sac, both CO and SH travel well when it comes to their fans.
