LA FAN-

I said that BA has a tougher schedule, because they do..they play Redlands,St.Lucy's,Bishop Mont.dam they even play Mater Dei and Glendora..What are you talking about..dont kid yourself..Who's Charter Oak..sorry but there not very good this year, just missing pitching..We all no that LA has a decent team I'm not questioning that..And trust me it's not a grudge..You just tend to hype them up a little too much..there are other teams that are holding there own..And you right put Glendora at the number 1 spot..wow we do agree on something..look at that a little progress..And by the way I never thought that LA would pitch someone else beside DL in a game..that was a shocker..Dam the coach finally gets it..a little bit..poor Wilson I feel sorry for VB over there such a great athlete but such on a bad team..hope they get better..

!!!!!?????

what do you mean?

It's nice when you know how to pull someone's strings. :)

#1 LA Fan, don't ever let them see you sweat!

cat

where have you been? you were served with a big piece of humble pie after your own tournament werent you? remember the whole time you were out there posting you had the best pitching,i do. you were gonna beat Bonita, what happened? then you were gonna beat la what happened? now your still coming out saying fred's missing the best team? as !!!!!!! said you must be hallucinating!

???????

the reason la was still number 1 was the paper was printed that morning, the game was that afternoon, how was he supposed to know what was going to happen? he couldnt go back and reprint!

!!!!!!!!!!!
its obvious you have grudges vs. certain people on LA,and thats fine, you actually amuse alot of people on here. especially whn you make comments referring to the top teams in the area and dont include LA, your indirectly throwing little jabs here and there pretty clever, i must say.But you do have to give them credit they are a very strong team! i wonder how you could say ba has a tougher schedul, their league is decent at best, theres no teams like co or bonita in it. When Glendora is in the league their in, La plays Bonita,CO,Etiwanda,Mater Dei,Redlands,Torrance,Ayala? I wonder how you repeatedly say that? In fact BA just lost their league opener today to st. joseph's 5-2.so you can continue to not include LA to your little list, because LA doesnt need or want people like you rooting for them, like im sure none of the other teams you mentioned do.

And in my opinion fred i would put Glendora number 1, i understand that, but would you really put bonita over la? i think la 2 and bonita 3. yes they split, but la was already ahead by 2 spots, and they are both 4-1 in league!!!it doesnt matter if bonita almost won as !!!!!!!!! says,at the end of the day it was a lose, i guarantee game 3 will be a great game!!!

Charter Oak tournament starts Saturday April 18, 2009:
Opening round:
game #1 Los Osos v. Monrovia SD#1 900am
game #2 Ontario Christian v. Covina SD#2 900am
game #3 Pomona Catholic v. Montebello SD#2 1100am
game #4 Santa Fe v. San Dimas SD#1 1100am
game #5 Glendora v. Cantwell Sacred Heart CO#1 930am
game #6 Temple City v. South El Monte CO#2 900am
game #7 Harvard Westlake v. Sierra Vista CO#2 1100am
game #8 El Rancho v. Charter Oak CO#1 1130am
winner 1 v. winner 2 SD#1 100pm
loser 1 v. loser 2 SD#2 100PM
winner 3 v winner 4 SD#1 300pm
loser 3 v. loser 4 SD#2 300pm
winner 5 v. winner 6 CO#1 130pm
loser 5 v. loser 6 C0#2 100pm
winner 7 v. winner 8 CO#1 330pm
loser 7 v. loser 8 CO#2 300pm
Good luck to all teams.

My predictions:
Los Osos, Ontario Christian, Pomona Catholic, San Dimas, Glendora, Temple City, Harvard Westlake, and Charter Oar win first round games. Los Osos, San Dimas, Glendora, Charter Oak win 2nd round games. Los Osos and Glendora win in the semi-finals with Glendora winning it all. In the consolation bracket, Monrovia, Pomona Catholic, Cantwell Sacred Heart and Harvard Westlake should advance into the semi's. I can see Pomona Catholic v. Cantwell in the consolation finals.

Nothing personal, Just one person's prediction. Good luck to all teams.

Sorry Kitty Cat-

But I dont see SD in the same boat as Bonita,Glendora or BA..as the best team in the SGV..Nothing wrong with a little hallucination..lol..Keep working hard and I'm sure that good things will happen..

Does anyone have any updates as to who is playing in the Charter Oak Tournament?

Fred, I was looking at the stats of some of the schools in the area and wondering why the coaches haven't updated them. They started off well and good and now have faded into the sunset. I hope that during spring break that the coaches take the time update the stats.

cat, honestly the best teams in the area would be bonita or glendora. looking at who the beat compaired to san dimas, you are not even the ball park. nice try keep up the good work.

your missing out Fred not covering the best team in the area, that would be the San Dimas lady Saints!!

Rowland not only touched Walnut, they totally roughed up the team 'in control' of the San Antonio League. Rowland totally shut Walnut down, allowing a meaningless single. This league is up for grabs now. It will come to which team gets hot and puts together a string of wins.

rhs 6
Walnut 0

Walnut lost to Rowland today...and Rowland lost to South Hills on Wednesday. West Covina lost to South Hills today. Things are getting pretty even in the San Antonio League.

CIF Rankings as of 3/30/09.

I think I would put Glendora at # 1..Probably the best well coach team... I know they haven't played as much, but hey that's there schedule..And they win..They did beat a good SGV BA team..you can almost put Bonita and LA at # 2 or Bonita slightly above LA..I know they split but Bonita was very close to winning that first one..and put BA at # 3 they do by far have tougher schedule then the other teams..my opinion..And charter oak, maybe an average team..they will lock up third in league..but that's it..no big wins against big teams..
