Kevin, I'm not certain all the correct answers were available. Can you tell me how I did?

1. What got UCLA coach Rich Neuheisel upset during football spring practice?

My Answer: He found out his Fantasy Baseball League no longer offered cash rewards for the top 3 finishers at season's end, and he was counting on those funds to pay off his USC law school student loan.

2. Which USC quarterback was named the starter for next season by coach Pete Carroll?

My Answer: Still undecided, since none of the three contenders has passed the always formidable Beer Bong test yet.

3. Columnist Art Spander compared Tiger Woods' failure so far to come from behind after 54 holes and win a major tournament to Arnold Palmer's inability to win what?

My Answer: A chance to throw out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium. Last week it was Ronny Turiaf, next week I hear it will be either Robert Horry or Will Smith, I'm not sure since I'm always getting them mixed up.

4. Now that Lorena Ochoa has enough victories to qualify for the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame, what else must the 26-year-old do to earn induction?

My Answer: I'm pretty sure she needs to jump into some large body of water somewhere with her clothes on, or Amy Alcott will pitch a fit and vote against Ochoa's enshrinement.

5. What did David Beckham say after the Galaxy dropped to 1-2 with a loss to Toronto?

My Answer: "This was one of the greatest games in the history of the greatest sport that nobody in America really gives a crap about. Got to go now, my accountant's on the phone and he tells me I have enough money to bail out the national debt."

6. Jeff Kent's 368th career home run tied him with which other Dodger for 64th on the all-time list?

My Answer: Jeff Kent is still alive?

7. Which baseball player said that when fans boo him, he can always pretend they're saying his name?

My Answer: Carmelo Anthony, since "boos" and "booze" sound vaguely alike. Oh, that's right, this was a baseball question. Sorry.

8. Columnist Steve Dilbeck declared, "It's safe to assume these Dodgers will never evolve into some kind of ..." what?

My Answer: I'm pretty sure evolution has pretty much passed up the Dodger organization and all who work for it.

9. Good news for the Ducks: In the NHL playoffs' current format, teams that lose games 1 and 2 at home have gone on to win a seven-game series half the time if they do what?

My Answer: Hire Dean Lombardi and Marc Crawford. (As a lifelong Kings fan, I can always hope, right?)

10. When Long Beach Grand Prix contender Graham Rahal, 19, won in St. Petersburg to become the youngest driver to win a major open-wheel race, the son of Bobby Rahal broke the record set by what offspring of a racing great?

My Answer: Offspring - isn't that the thing that controls the suspension on my Mitsubishi?
