HS BASE: Berrington is new Providence coach

Well-traveled Chuck Berrington is the new coach at Providence in Burbank, his third stop over the past three years following stints at Newbury Park for one season this past spring and Taft for three seasons. He previously coached at Westlake for seven seasons before resigning in 2002, then worked as an assistant at Moorpark JC.

Newbury Park finished 20-10 and placed third in the Marmonte League under Berrington last season.
