Water Polo: Conejo Classic tournament starts Friday

The Conejo Classic water polo tournament starts Friday at four area schools and features 32 teams competing over two days.

Oaks Christian of Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Westlake and Newbury Park will be the sites.

Matches start at 2 p.m. at each site Friday and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The top four teams after pool play is completed will compete at Cal Lutheran University on Saturday at 4:40 p.m. and 5:35 p.m.

Thirteen of 32 schools are from the region including Oaks Christian, Thousand Oaks, Malibu, Crespi, Rio Mesa, Westlake, Moorpark, Alemany, Crescenta Valley, Newbury Park, Notre Dame, Calabasas and Glendale.
