Boys Hoops: Markus Monroe, All-State for Glendale College

| | Comments (0) |

Just got a call from longtime Glendale College boys basketball coach Brian Beauchminn.

Beauchminn relayed that sophomore Markus Monroe from Monrovia High was an all-state selection.

Monroe becomes Glendale's 10th all-state selection overall and first since Durwin Williams in 2005.

Monroe, a 6'2 guard, was the Western States Conference leading scorer at 22 ppg and is being recruited by Division II power Kentucky Wesleyan.
