Quartz Hill continues winning in wrestling

| | Comments (0) |

The Quartz Hill Rebels won the CIF Championship in the Div V Duals Tournament on Saturday at San Jacinto High School. It is the first CIF Title for the Rebels in their school's history, along with winning their first league title since 1992 and winning the Golden League Finals last weekend.
They are the first Golden League team to win since Highland did in 2004 and the first Golden League team to make it that far since Antelope Valley got there - but lost to Royal in 2006.
The last local team to win the Div V title was Royal in 2006 - and the Highlanders came close this year, but lost in the semifinals to Centennial of Corona.

More on the Quartz Hill and Royal performances at CIF when the information comes in.
