Megan Norton had 44 kills for Harvard-Westlake in the Archbishop Mitty volleyball tournament over the weekend in San Jose.
Harvard-Westlake finished fourth in the tournament, downing Los Gatos and Cathedral Catholic of San Diego in the first two rounds, then losing to Archbishop Mitty in the semifinals and Marymount in the third-place game.
It was the second time this season Marymount has beaten Harvard-Westlake.
Danielle Salka had 30 kills for Harvard-Westlake in the two-day tournament. Krystle Higgins had 13 blocks and Alma Guevara had 12. Jillian McAndrews recorded 37 digs in the tournament.
Thousand Oaks also played in the tournament and won the consolation bracket.
Harvard-Westlake played in the Archbishop Mitty tournament last year.
"There is a lot of good competition up there," said Harvard-Westlake coach Adam Black. "It's a good test for us before we get going in the season."
Harvard-Westlake opens Mission League play against Louisville on Thursday.
