Saugus maintained its position as the top-ranked girls' cross country team in the California region following its dominant performance Saturday at the Woodbridge Classic, but the Centurions have some company in the latest top 10 poll.

Following a seventh-place effort in the girls' team sweepstakes race at Woodbridge, doing so while resting one of its top five runners, Crescenta Valley of La Crescenta ascended to No. 7 in the regional rankings.
