Boys basketball: Montclair Prep's Cowlah receives offer

| | Comments (0) |

I just got off the phone with Montclair Prep coach Greg Patterson and he said guard Daymond Cowlah received a scholarship offer from Loyola University in Maryland.

Cowlah, only 5'8, really came into his own this past spring and summer and was offered on Saturday while playing for the Mounties in the Valley Sports Foundation fall league at Montclair Prep.

Cowlah did not commit but will take an official visit to the school this winter.

"I think it is a great opportunity for Daymond," Patterson said. "He hit a $200,000 jackpot. It costs about $50,000 a year to go there."
