Football: Campbell Hall Loses Season Opener

Campbell Hall of North Hollywood got off to the regions earliest start in a football season in recent memory but couldn't pull out a victory against Faith Lutheran of Las Vegas, losing 19-12 in a non-league game at Campbell Hall.

Bernard Dillard rushed for 158 yards on 21 carries including two touchdowns to lead the Vikings.

Dillard's 64 yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter cut the deficit to the final margin.

David Speary completed seven of 16 passes for 108 yards including touchdown passes of 33 and 14 yards to Don Pearson (5 receptions, 89 yards).
