Some softball recruiting news: Infider Emily Bliss of Chaminade of West Hass has signed with Cal State Bakersfield, and Hart of Newhall junior infielder Melissa Brown has committed to Tennessee.

Bliss is a two-time All-Mission League selection who sparked Chaminade to the Southern Section Div. IV title this past spring, and Brown batted .451 with 33 runs to help Hart to the Div. I final.
