Harrison changes his mind

Rio Mesa wide receiver Josh Harrison has decomitted from Utah and verbally committed to San Jose State.

"After thinking things over, I decided to de-commit and I'm now committed to San Jose State," Harrison told Rivals.com recruiting expert Greg Biggins. "Utah was great but the more I thought about it, I didn't want to be that far away from home.

"I'm a Cali boy and just feel a lot more comfortable here. I tripped to San Jose State right before visiting Utah and I really liked it. I was only able to spend one day there because it was a mid-week trip but I liked it a lot.

"Coach Tomey is a great coach and I like the direction San Jose State is going in. They won nine games last season and could have easily won a few more. I like the offense they run and the coaches told me I'll have a chance to play as a freshman next season.

"After I de-committed, I had a home visit with Coach Tomey and that kind of sealed the deal for me. I'm very excited about my decision and feel that both football wise, socially, spirtually, everything, I fit in a lot better at San Jose State."
