Year's end

Expect some more-dubious-than-usual distinctions from The Proctor , who has some end of the year awards awaiting votes.

Speaking of Aaron, did anyone else think a certain story last weak read like rip-off of Aaron's blog? Perhaps he could get a job over there! <.<

Updated: Metroblogging.la has reached a decision on its 2007 "Grinch of the Year" award, thanks to the "Pasadena blog mafia."

Blog mafia represent. *punches chest* Oh - and it's ok. In trade for ripping me off, the Pasadena Weekly is allowing me to sleep with the escort of my choice from their back pages.
Dre said:
Yeah especially when you consider we have done the lies issue every OTHER year. I guess we ripped him off by doing it first. <: Re: us hiring proctor, you have a better chance of getting into the Weekly offices to film a movie and rifle through my desk than that happening.
AP said:
I think he's just kidding around Andre. And I don't think people would take to kindly at me working at the Weekly. Besides, I wouldn't get anything done because I'd be spying on all the reporters all the time. Re: Bogaard The Grinch. I don't think he's as much Grinch-y as he's just inept. Seriously.

Fie on you, Coleman, I will destroy you one day! D:< How deeply I regret not taking the time to trash a recent weak's editorial *speculating* councilfolk could be ordering prostitutes from your website during meetings! BTW, where's my invitation??

Rocket. Yeahhh. Satellite of love. Sorry, I have Def Leppard stuck in my head. And, K-Todd, what Sid Tyler does with his computer time at Council meetings is his business.

And that transsexual latina ad I see every week in the PW is kinda hot. She looks passable enough. Give me about 3 stiff drinks.

The Pasadena Weekly should definitely hire Proctor as a columnist.

Just remember the bloggers around the SGV are what lit the fire. I just gathered and put it all on blogging.la. I almost feel sorry for Bogaard the way he keeps stepping into these policitcal landmines. I still hold firm Pasadena and the rest of us in the SGV deserve better.
With all due respect, frazgo, I think the votes came from the highly organized and internet connected protesters--not the bloggers.
