For Safety's Sake

| | Comments (5) |

I had been wondering why we need a YAC (yet another committee) to develop some strategery for countering gang/youth/interracial violence, when the city already has a Public Safety Committee.

Then I saw the agenda for today's meeting of that committee:

4. NEW BUSINESS
A. Bridge Inspection After an Emergency
B. Annual Commission Report – July 2006 Through June 2007 and Work Plan for 2007 - 2008:
(1) Pasadena Public Library Commission*
(2) Recreation & Parks Commission*

5. OLD BUSINESS
A. Update on Dog Breeding Issues
B. Update on Humane Society

6. INFORMATIONAL ITEM
A. Review and Discussion of Future Committee Calendar*

Damn those breeding poodles, hanging out at liquor stores and terrorizing the community.

Dude you don't want to be around when the Pasadena Public Library Commission blows. I pray you never see it.

Look at the brain trust on the committee. What's to wonder? Airhead Steve and Maserati Steve investigating dog breeding in Pasadena instead of actually trying to make policy that concerns my safety. I think I'm better off. Glad McAustin's got a mandate though. Keep those poodles pure. Works for me.

Our possible next mayor, AIRHEAD STEVE or MASERATI STEVE. There goes Pasadena right down the chute. I'd like to see a popular non-politico type come out of nowhere and blow these guys out of city politics. A Richard Riordon, Ross Perot, Arnold S. type with charisma, heart, business acumen and compassion for people. That would really be refreshing and great for our city.
It's not Airhead Steve, it's Sexy Steve.
