The future's so bright, Manny's gotta wear shades

| | Comments (0) |

Manny Ramirez bounded into the Dodgers clubhouse Saturday afternoon with sunglasses on and kept them on for a while, prompting Delwyn Young to call him ``Mannywood.'' The Dodgers have used that term, but I'm not sure if they were the ones to come up with it. When Ramirez took the sunglasses off, he went off somewhere and Young put them on for a while. Ramirez was laughing with reporters and seemed to be having a good time. You'd think the Dodgers were up 2-0 in the NLCS, but Philadelphia has the lead. Since Manny came to town in the July 31 trade with Boston, he's shown old and young players that they can produce and still have fun. It has to be tough to play that loose down two games, but Ramirez was trying his best to keep the mood light.
