Ted Haggard and his wife - who tells Oprah Winfrey they had an "amazing" sex life by the way - pay a visit to Oprah. Haggard shows the world what self-loathing and shame can do to a person's life.
He's a pathetic man.

She's a mess---
They're both messes; but it's an aspect of sexuality that I'm glad Oprah is addressing. She is very brave to do so.
He needs to figure out if he can love his wife enough to NOT commit infidelity (again). It is not that tough a thing to avoid, otherwise most couples would be bonking everybody else all over the place.
She is taking a leap of faith. "Once a cheater, always a cheater" is usually a truism. And the cheater has to be determined to NOT cheat again.
When he pleaded her for divorce, was it out of sincerity? Or psychological manipulation?
I know where he is coming from, but even I - once making a decision involving a partner - would never break it. I can't think of anything more hurtful to do. Those who cheat are scum of the Earth. And it doesn't matter if he's bisexual, straight "with issues", gay, does it with toasters, or anything else. Especially with drugs and STDs, never mind the heartache, what he did was truly and very hurtful.
