,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,rosiemovie.jpgWe will get a chance soon to see the movie Rosie O'Donnell was filming in the months leading up to the November election thart California passed Prop. 8. Rosie was snippy when asked by her blog readers why she didn't do anything for the campaign in terms of money or time and she remarked that she does not live in California.

Well, Rosie will be coming to California on Feb. 24
Rosie O'Donnell Premieres America to premiere her new Lifetime movie "America" during an event at The Paley Center for Media on Feb. 24.

Here's what the email I just got says: This emotional Lifetime Original movie follows a troubled seventeen-year-old named America (newcomer Philip Johnson) as he is about to "age out" of the only life he has known, being raised within the country's imperfect foster care system. Rosie O'Donnell not only plays the teen's therapist but also serves as executive producer and receives her first dramatic writing credit for adapting E. R. Frank's book along with Joyce Eliason. O'Donnell and other members of the cast and creative team will appear to discuss the movie.
