Oh! I forgot to mention that it is wonderful that you have not allowed this story to go into oblivion as most news sources do. You have continued to follow-up on this newsworthy story as well as entertaining us with your witty remarks. It is not a common occurrence for a person to give birth to octuplets and on top of it be a psychologically unstable mother. What most people hope for is the safety and well-being of all fourteen children, and until there is a sign that some sort of concrete plan has been established and followed through, Nadya and her children will continue to be in the spotlight. It is now announced she has signed a deal with Eyeworks, from the UK for her show!
Also, she has filed for a trademark of the name Octomom! (I thought she hated that name?) She plans to offer dresses, shirts, pants and diapers under the trademark! LOL Who will buy this crap?

California's laws in this matter are considerably more restrictive than those in many other states. I highly doubt that the Jon and Kate plus 8 could be filmed in the manner it is if they were in CA.
The restrictions in CA also limit, greatly, the amount of time the children can actually be filmed each day. This will probably be rather challenging for the show's production staff.

That's why her dream team hasn't gotten back to you Octorazzi-they are too busy competing for the trademarking of the name "OctoMom" which she used to hate but now embraces. A Texas company also filed for the name for an IPHONE game the CEO says "you press her belly and she has babies". too bad Nadya can't get a piece of that action though. This might be a ridiculous question, but do the labor laws apply if the "documentaries" (right, having a hard time with that concept) are being aired in the UK? It shouldn't if the family resides in CA and filming is completed here but just wondering...

Anon@ 5:01--I would think that as long as they are CA residents, CA labor laws apply. They would still apply if the kids were to film in another state, as far as I understand. Is it that the company is going to bring them all to the UK for filming each year ???

Right now the word is airing the documentaries in the UK, hard to imagine taking any part of that family there for filming...Octorazzi should clear this up once he posts the commentary on his interview with Labor Board...in my earlier post I was hoping there wasn't a loophole Octoscam could scam where the filming requirements could be bypassed if the series aired outside of the US but that possibility should be slim to nonexistent
It's starting to sound like it would still be filmed here in OctomonstroCITY with her doting neighbors, etc., but "aired" across the pond (maybe because the huge backlash here in the colonies). If she would have to pack the circus up and go there it would put an unbearable burden on homeland security at the airport coming and going and they have other priorities watching for terrorist, drug importing, etc.)We'll see (or not- as many have chosen to forego)

Blast it, I watch, or TIVO that show! Most of the product references in the show are healthy food or snack alternatives such as Sugar Free Jello, Quaker Oatmeal, Cheerios, Extra SF Gum, Brita Water, Subway Sandwiches...I zip thru the commercials in between so can't think of anything there. I had checked the Eyeworks website but saw nothing familiar, guess the Biggest Loser being produced under a sub was the reason?
Some of these sponsors are the all american type, I have a hard time seeing them wanting to associated with such a controversial woman whether her little documentaries air here or the UK.
Maybe I can finish this season before having to boycott....just another reason for me to loathe this pond sucking parasite!
