Where does Octorazzi start? Well, let's all get on the same page by starting, well, at the beginning of this Oh, such a complicated story.
This is what the website for the California Labor Commissioner's Office website has to say about Labor Law in California.
The Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and the Office of the Labor Commissioner were established to adjudicate wage claims, investigate discrimination and public works complaints, and enforce Labor Code statutes and Industrial Welfare Commission orders.

Ok. Let's all move on.
Octorazzi spoke via telephone to Erika Monterroza, spokesperson for the Division of Labor Standards & Enforcement (DLSE). She told Octorazzi that the law is very specific and to the point.
Monterroza directed Octorazzi to follow her along their website via phone. She pointed Octorazzi to the pages she was referring to as she spoke.
As of Midnight April 17, 2009 (today) Suleman's attorney Jeff Czech has not responded to my April 14, 2009, email about this specific topic.
Still with me? Okay now, so let's move on.
Monterroza said to Octorazzi to keep in mind that PAID OR NOT, ALL REGULATIONS regarding CHILD LABOR LAWS apply and that a child is indeed working/performing to entertain REGARDLESS if it is a video blog or reality television show.
I'm going to take a look at the latest Radaronline video to see if any laws apply to this specific video where all 8 babies are shown. The 3:09 min. video was filmed MONDAY April 16, 2009, soon after the last baby arrived home, sometime after 8 PM.
Straight from the DLSE website. "Except in limited circumstances...all minors under 18 years of age employed in the state of California must have a permit to work."
My first question is: Do these children have a work permit? Czech has not responded to this question and Octorazzi will do his best to find any public records of this. And remember that even if they are not being paid, the laws still apply.
Next: DLSE says that Children from 15 days to 6 months of age can only remain at the place of employment (their home in this case) for TWO hours and the day's work shall not exceed 20 (twenty) minutes.
My Q to this is: HOW LONG did it take the video guy to do the video AND were the children filmed more than 20 minutes? (The video is 3 minutes long, but was there much editing done here)
And ONE NURSE & STUDIO TEACHER MUST BE PROVIDED. (yes, Monterroza said it does not matter if they are babies, they need a studio teacher).
Next Q: Was there a nurse and/or a studio teacher present that night?
Only those inside can answer that question.
Moving on to another point:
DLSE says: Infants under six months of age shall not be given medical examinations except between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. or between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Work time for said infants shall be limited to one period of two consecutive hours in any one day, and such period must be either between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. or between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The filming occurred after 8 PM. Are laws being broken here?

A letter from the Division of Labor Standards suggests that individuals even being themselves following their normal routines are considered performers and thus fall within the regulations. i.e. Babies crying and looking cute!
And, the sanctions for violating the Labor Code or Regulations?
Any misdemeanor violation of any Labor Code provision respecting child labor, or any violation of these regulations may constitute grounds for denying a Permit to Employ Minors in the entertainment industry, or for suspending or revoking any such permit.
For the record: The octuplet babies are shown in the latest radaronline video at least from 00:15 secs. to 1:37 secs.- total time: 1:22 (1 minute, 22 seconds).
All of these pending questions casn be answered if Jeff Czech calls or emails OCTORAZZI with the answers.
Is this a fair subject to try to tackle, or is Octorazzi just SPINNING his wheels? Do tell!

Now we need to find out whether child welfare advocates on behalf of the children can sue Radaronline, Dr. Phil, Nadya Natalie Doud Suleman, Angela Doud Suleman, Ed Doud and Jeff Czech for exploiting these babies.
And if they can prove a pattern of exploitation and neglect find homes for them, preferably in smaller groups, where they will be allowed to have childhoods where they are raised by loving individuals who can give EACH of these kids the amount of nurturing and attention they EACH deserve.
Then Toxomom can make a career about whining over how unfair life has been to her while raking it in.
and the state can prosecute her for $165,000 in Worker's Comp Fraud. Anyone else would have been on the way to jail for that by now.
Why isn't she being prosecuted, Octorazzi?

Wow. So if I'm reading this correctly, if she didn't have work permits for the kids prior to starting her paid vlogs, this would be grounds for denying her application now. That would through a monkey wrench into those reality show plans.
How about the Dr Phil show and Kaiser Permanente and for that matter NBC for the very first videos? Did they follow procedure with these?

Octorazzi don't you think that Attorney Czech will take exception with this silly law and re-spin and try to sell the Brooklyn Bridge saying "the babies are not here to ENTERTAIN"(just laying there being cute, sleeping or crying or whatever) They have been put her by God to EDUCATE,inform and inspire-oh yea and to pay my attorney fees and use whatever else is left for all that other incidental stuff-like-hospital bills, diapers, formula, life in general). they are Not entertainment but Educational. That couldn't possibly be interpreted as exploitative but in the best interest of the children, the public, OctoMom (and Mr. & Mrs. Czech).

Jeff Czech is not just a lawyer, but a Sue & Settle lawyer. Meaning he has to do his homework before he gets paid..
So these permit issues are likely-- unless he is as bad a lawyer as he is a PR flack-- to have been part of the scutwork lawyers do for this kind of situation.
He is not about to mess up losing out by not getting the right permits. It's more likely that radaronline and NS violated the laws.
Which would be a very likely reason to see them pulled and negated.
CCPS know how to get on-line as well as anyone does. I don't think they are dragging their feet as much a building a whopper of an airtight case against Toxomom. They'll NEED to do that to put them all in foster care where they won't risk being exploited by their own family and lawyer.
I just wish some child care advocate would step in and provide a competent and disinterested lawyer to represent the children. Jeff Czech is the single biggest reason these children will lead blighted lives. personally, I see him as a tick in a cheap suit.

All 8 were on her lap for a lot longer than 30 seconds with very bright lights on them. The poor little one screaming in terror the entire time.

wow.. seems the octowheels are coming off the octobus... She might have to octomove to a more filming friendly state.. DO NOT COME to Texas.. We have laws too about kids and filming.. I had to get cards for my own kids years ago when they were working on a movie project. I think it is up to age 16 you have to have the card.. And if you are on a set you had BETTER have the card with you in case someone showed up. My kids were not babies so I do not recall about the whole hours a day you can work.. But that was a part of it also..
Oh well, look on the bright side.. At least her toes will look pretty...

The new radar online video clearly shows one of the octuplets being changed by zooming in on his penis and then lingers there so we know for certain it is one of the boys. That was completely beyond poor judgement and taste and then to post it online for all the pervy internet to see.
Does Nadya not preview this stuff to make sure her precious babies are not being compromised and exploited in such a manner? Or was she still too dizzy from the nail polish fumes from her recent pedicure??
I don't care, free or not, that mani/pedi stuff is pure crap for such a grifter.

I am enjoying what you write, I like your creativity. It is just that you are a bit repetitive. Any new elements you bring could be contained in shorter posts. I thought you are writing for all of us, including me. Who else are you writing for otherwise, and why would you exclude me from your public? I could not read everything you wrote - it is too digressive in places; hence my suggestion to condense and cut. You guessed, I am being paid, but not by whom you think. But I get only a measly 3 bucks a comment. Which works for me because I am only in eighth grade and my parents cannot afford to give us kids pocket money. They have to work under the table and you can imagine they do not make enough. I do the paper rounds in the mornings though and I babysit sometimes, but I still look too much like a child, so not many people trust me yet.
My dream before college is to babysit for Nadya’s kids in 2010 or 2011. Gracias.
