| Workers Fired for Peek at Octo-Mom Files |
| LOS ANGELES - Fifteen hospital workers have been fired and another eight disciplined for looking at medical records of octuplet mother Nadya Suleman without permission, hospital officials said Monday. Kaiser Permanente reported the violations of health care privacy laws to the state and has warned employees at its Bellflower facility to keep away from Suleman's records unless they have a medical purpose, said hospital spokesman Jim Anderson." The only rational voice coming out of OctoWorld seems to be that of
Nadya Suleman's first publicist, Joann Killeen. The West L.A.-based
publicist partner in the Killeen Furtney Group wants to set the
record straight.
In an exclusive interview, Killeen said the reason she stopped
representing Suleman pro bono was "because of death threats I
received."
Killeen said that her public relations firm had set three goals to
complete when she agreed to represent Suleman, who gave birth to
octuplets on Jan. 26.
Getting (Suleman) out of the hospital was the first goal, along with
helping select the right media for the first interview and lastly, to
create a photo of the babies away from the hospital.
But even before Suleman left the hospital, negative sentiment toward
the unwed, unemployed mother of 14 children, all under 8, built at a
fever pitch.
"You're crazy, you're out of your mind," people were telling Killeen.
About two days after representing Suleman, Killeen
began to get opinions.
"People don't have any common place to make a statement, to share
their opinions, so because we set up that Web site, we got all the
comments directed to us."
Killeen, who started a Web site for donations for the only surviving
octuplets in the world, became the target of negative comments and
death threats from the animosity toward Suleman.
And five weeks after parting ways with Suleman, who is referred to as
Octomom, Killeen said she still receives phone calls, letters,
packages and monetary donations for Suleman.
"I still spend 15 to 20 hours per week on the telephone," she said,
fielding calls that have to do with Suleman.
Some telephone calls come directly from prisons, she said.
"It's amazing that I get collect (phone) calls from prisoners at my
office," she said. "I love you, I'll take care of you, I get out in
eight months," are some of the messages Killeen has taken for Suleman.
Almost daily letters from a man in Michigan proclaim that he is a
good cook and can clean. Killeen said the man promises to "give up
his daily joint (of marijuana)" if Suleman marries him and moves into
his mobile home with her 14 children.
A psychic once called Killeen to tell her to "go back and take care
of her (Suleman)," because the psychic had seen Killeen's face in the
clouds.
Military men in Iraq want Suleman as their pen pal, Killeen added.
"She has become a cult figure," Killeen said, referring to the many
offers of help and love directed to Suleman.
The thenadyasulemanfamily.com Web site has received more than 100,000
e-mails, Killeen said.
The Web site had 175 million hits in two weeks and there were 1.7
million unique visitors in that same time.
"Stuff is still coming in," Killeen said, referring to the boxes of
diapers, formula and other baby items she is still storing in her
office.
People sending items many times request an autographed photo of
Suleman and her children, Killeen said.
"The mailbox company will call us to bring the jeep," Killeen adds,
to load up the daily items received from throughout the United States.
Her first attempt at delivering an SUV loaded with gifts for the
octuplets was turned away at the Suleman's then-Whittier home because
Ed
Doud, the grandfather, told them there was no more room in the home
to store anything else.
Now, Killeen has to rent "a pretty good size van just to get
everything to her home."
Killeen did decline to give an amount of money received as donations
through the Web site or stuffed in letters saying only that "it's less
than six figures."
The only hurdle keeping Killeen from passing the money along to
Suleman, she said, is that neither Suleman nor her attorney have
provided a proper tax ID number for a trust.
As for the hundreds of items stored in her office, Killeen said she
will soon take them to the La Habra home that Suleman now calls home.
"I'm not overdosed on Octomom Kool-Aid," Killeen said when referring
to the positive and negative frenzy over Suleman news that has
overcome the public and the media as well.
"I think that now people have greater respect for us for what we did
because it was all professional. There is no reason for me to be
disrespectful and I try to accommodate the media by responding to all
questions, despite the fact that I don't represent her (Suleman),"
Killeen said.
"I continue to maintain a professional attitude with
all media" that needs information about Suleman. "I might still
write a book about this experience," she added.

In an brand new interview exclusively for RadarOnline.com, Suleman addresses point-by-point explosive allegations made by attorney Gloria Allred, who helped broker the deal with "Angels" to provide care for Nadya.
Allred claims Nadya spends little time with her babies. She's also raised concerns about security at Nadya's home and the health of her nannies.
And then, there's the suggestion that Nadya is spending her money on such frivolous things like a jacuzzi.

Each week, child protective services (CPS) agencies throughout the United States receive more than 50,000 reports of suspected child abuse or neglect. In 2002, 2.6 million reports concerning the welfare of approximately 4.5 million children were made.
In approximately two-thirds (67 percent) of these cases, the information provided in the report was sufficient to prompt an assessment or investigation. As a result of these investigations, approximately 896,000 children were found to have been victims of abuse or neglect--an average of more than 2,450 children per day.

Hey-oh!
After carefully watching the video and writing down what Nadya said, this is part of the conversation with the interviewer from Radaronline.com (I am giving you only part of the interview, go watch all the very SHOCKING details by clicking on the links here):
Nadya said in the video, refering to Angels in Waiting founder Linda West Conforti:
(NOTE: This is on the angelsinwaitingusa.org website:
Board of Directors
Linda West Conforti, President, has been a registered neonatal/pediatrics intensive care nurse for over twenty-five years. She is a forensic health specialist in the areas of residential mold and pathogens. She is the Founder of Angels in Waiting.)
So, here we go with part of what Nadya said in the 5-minute EXPLOSIVE video:
"Linda who is founder of Angels in Waiting...she was stating to me.. unprofessional things...she was saying they were going to be abducted... It scared me and made me feel almost nauseous when she said that." "She said 'who wouldn't...what caucasian woman woudn't want Noah and she pointed to Noah ... what Hispanic woman woudn't want Isaiah and she pointed to Isaiah" "I got chills all over and it made me feel very uncomfortable." Octomom recounted in a sullen voice.
And, Nadya continues in the interview: "After that she said "Once they are abducted you won't be able to trace them" "I'm basically quoting what she said," Nadya says.
"The next morning, my nanny informed me.... after the fact that on her way out she opened her purse and said "Look one of the babies would fit just perfectly in my purse" and I almost threw up... and I called my attorney and he immediately terminated their services... It was a nighmare.

In our latest installment of OctoNews, our intrepid reporter S.T.M., as I like to call her, (Sandra Molina) gets to the bottom of why Nadya got rid of Angels in Waiting nurses. Here's an excerpt:

"The doctors said the babies do not need specially trained nurses, but that well-qualified nannies are sufficient," her attorney Jeffrey Czech said.
He said Suleman will pay for the nannies from money that has come in as a result of doing interviews."

Mother
Nadya Suleman was born on October 12, 1975 in Fullerton, California and was raised in La Puente, Hacienda Heights and Rowland Heights, all cities in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County.[24][25][26] She is the only child of Edward and Angela Doud, who married in Las Vegas in 1974, and divorced in 1999.[27]
[edit]Biological father
Suleman's mother stated that a single sperm donor named David Solomon[28] was used to produce the octuplets as well as her daughter's previous six children.[29][11]Nadya stated that she dated David once, but realized after that she only wanted him to father her children and not pursue a relationship with him.[30] Other sources claim that Nadya made up the name David Solomon in order not to identify the actual sperm donor.[31]
On the February 23, 2009 edition of ABC's Good Morning America, a man named Denis Beaudoin claimed to be the biological father of Suleman's children. He stated they dated from 1997 to 1999 and Suleman asked him if he would donate the sperm. Beaudoin is requesting a paternity test be performed to verify his claim. Suleman has since denied that he was the donor.[32][33][34]
[edit]Siblings
The octuplets have six older siblings age 2 to 7 (born between 2001 and 2006) who were also conceived via IVF with the same sperm donor according to statements made by mother Nadya Suleman.[35][28][36] They are:
- 7-year-old Elijah Makai Solomon (boy)
- 6-year-old Amerah Yasmeen Solomon (girl)
- 5-year-old Joshua Jacob Solomon (boy)
- 3-year-old Aiden Solomon (boy)
- 2-year-old Calyssa Arielle Solomon (girl, fraternal twin)
- 2-year-old Caleb Kai Solomon (boy, fraternal twin)
[edit]Grandparents
The octuplets' maternal grandfather, 67-year-old Edward Doud Suleman,[37] identifying himself as a former Iraqi military man, says he is returning to his native Iraq as atranslator and driver, in order to financially support his daughter and her children.[38][39] Their grandmother, 69-year-old Angela Victoria Suleman, a retired teacher, has helped to look after the first six children. She has indicated that she is overwhelmed looking after them, and has been critical of her daughter in her recent public statements. For example, she has stated that her daughter has not contributed toward housing or food costs.[40][40][41][40][42][43][44][45]
